Post Will 91 302 Heads do any good on a 67 Galaxy????

I have a buddy with a 67 Galaxy and he wants a little more "go", we were thinking about putting my old stock 91 5.0 heads on his 289...will this do any good? also, do you guys recommend a moderate cam for that engine? im more a mustang guy, so i have no clue what to tell him...he has an edlebrock intake and a holley 650? cfm carb...any suggestions?

trick flow heads, GT 40 intake-ported lower, 65mm TB, 75mm MM, Paxton regulator, 19lb ers, hooker shorties, off road h-pipe, dynomax cat back, 3.73, wc t-5z, cobra clutch, cobra cam, 1.72 stud rr, pulleys, k&n, msd ignition, accel 8.8 wires.
