![]() 66 mustang 289 auto.at wot car bogs and spits.have new edelbrock carb 600 vac secondaries..new edelbrock 289 performer manifold.new petronix ign and coil new plugs and wires timing at 6b car runs fine until you floor it

![]() Couple things you can check. First look down the throat of the carb, engine off, and open the throttle. Is the pump squirting right away and a good healthy shot??
Next bump the timing to 10-12 degrees. If it doesn't ping and see how it runs. |
