Post Getting power from carb, & MSD coil????

Hey guys,

Well, i know my carb (holley 600cfm 4bbl) is WAY out of wack, it needs some tunning, but since im getting that done, i want to get it tuned for some aggresive driving, since it was put on, the guy that did it for us didnt do any tunning, he said it didnt need it, but i know it did, it ran ok, so i didnt really say anything, did it for free anyways.

Well, now it needs tunning and im sure a possible rebuild and wanted to know what to ask for when i show up. I heard some stuff about changing the ports or barrels or something like that will give me a lot more power? Also, what should i expect to pay, i wont have much time to shop around so what would be a good amount for a tunning/port change, and that price with a rebuild on top of that?

Oh Also, i bought an MSD blaster 3 coil, knowing its for msd ignition, and was wondering what it would do with my stock ignition, would it burn stuff up?

Thanks guys
