I had a good weekend, not only did I take out that turbo civic but I actualy killed a big block. He cut somone off to get to me and then passed me on the right side where there isnt even a lane. We catch a light and this thing sounds nasty, it had a much rougher idle than my B cam. I asked him what was in it, he says its a 396 and I say "sounds mean" He just shakes his head yes and looks at the light. This is an older pickup truck, late 60's early 70's so I figure I should be able to at least get him off the launch...the light turns and I took him by 2 cars in first, powershifted and gained another in second, I shifted really slow into 3rd because I knew I had already won. We let off and he just passes me with a nod. My first big block kill. Im sure if that motor was in a lighter car I would have lost, but it wasnt..and I won
![]() Then on the freeway about 4 hours later a new GT starts with me, so I down shift to 3rd and put a few on him, I slow down and he does a flyby. When I caught him later he didnt want to play for some reason. ![]() ------------------ 95GT B303 cam, 1.7 rockers, 65mm TB, 73mm MAF, milled heads, 355's K&N, BBK Longtubes, Flowmaster cat back, pulleys, msd coil, 9mm wires, Tremec 3550, Pro5.0 shifter,10.5 Motorsport clutch, FMS aluminum driveshaft, weld in subframe connectors |

I fixed my MAF, It was really screwed up. Im sure I could hit a 14 flat now with the same shitty 2.2 60 ft. 13's with a decent launch. Im getting a GT40 intake next month, Im going to install that w the 30 lb injectors/190 pump I already have and get it dyno tuned, then go back to the track.
