Should ny car be able to beat a 2000 GT?
With my mods do you think I should be able to beat a bone stock 2000 GT? Any replies would be appretiated.

I would say you could hang with a stock auto GT for sure, but a stock GT with a stick and a good driver could still be a bit out of your league. It'd be a good race though. Do heads & cam on the 5.0 and you'll be low 13's, which is more like stock LS1 territory. Then you'll be showing stock GT's your taillights consistently.

Depends on what kind of driver you are and he is. You should do OK against him, anyone's race IMO. Warrior's right, after heads/cam....you will see him in the rear view.

Well you guys were right. we raced last night and the first race I beat him buy a fender length. The second race he beat me by a bumper length. So were pretty even. When he beat me a spun of the line so it was my fault I lost.
