![]() these are 351 for a fox but you can get a header for your car that is not so close to the heads like that.jba makes a nice mid header or long tube for your year.those headers must be for the stock heads,i know alot of fox owners have that problem when they put a aftermarket header on a stock head.thers alot of companies that make off the shelf headers for your car that will fit and are not so close to the head.mustangs unlimited has a complete catologe on your body style.edelbrock makes headers for it too.

![]() you dont have to use shorty headers that was just an example.lol these are tri y headers from mustangs unlimited.but theres so many companies that make great headers.i would really look into it,those ones you have are too tight for your heads. the ones in my car are full length.

![]() Can you find out what brand he bought? What transmission they were designed for (like a c-4)?? The AOD is wider, therefore I had to do some tweaking on mine years ago to get them to work.
If you could, also ask him if he had to do any mods to his to get them to clear
