![]() I have done that same swap 3 times now, only I used the EFI setup. Are you sure you want to go with a carb? You have so much work ahead of you, you may as well go the last mile and convert to EFI. In order to accomplish the swap, you really need a whole parts car to pick parts from. There are so many small things that you don't think of until later. Here's a partial list: front brakes, front springs(which you said), sway bar, driveshaft (if you are converting from AOD), engine, mounts, full exhaust, T-5, T-5 wire harness, rear end, cooling fan, fan shroud, distributor, tachometer, radiator, etc. If you plan to go the EFI route, than you will also need all 3 EFI harness, all sensors, intakes, MAF, etc. It would be cheaper to sell your car and buy a 5-liter with the engine already installed. It is not a difficult swap at all, but a very, very, involved one.
