If you look at the Ford Motorsport Catalog, Ford sells a kit for the 94-95 GT's that they advertise at 285hp. It includes: GT-40 heads, E-303 cam, GT40 lower and upper intake, 65mm TB, 75mm MAF, 24lb injectors, and a different computer. The reason why the Cobra has 40hp less than it should? The computer is detuned and automatically retards timing in the upper RPMs. Go figure. ![]() Anotehr strange fact.... Ford rates the same kit but for 87-93 at 260hp.... a 20hp difference.... weird.
