Ya, i guess I will consider myself lucky. I just installed the new rubber holder on the throttle cable and took it for a ride. I acutally feel like the pedal is stiffer and that the car pulls a little harder throughout the rpm range. Guess the holder was loose. Guess I should have changed it when I bought the car. Thanks again everyone.
