![]() It's just easier to attatch feed wires to the solenoid lug than to the battery post, especially for me since the batterry is located in the trunk. I do put in a fusable link though, when hooking things directly to battrey side of the solenoid. That's because in case of a short circuit, the fusable link will melt and there hopefully won't be a resulting fire hazard.
