thats not true the stock pumps in the modulars use cast gears and they do break.... they are not like the old school pumps people have broken them from high rpms,nitrous puts a big hit on the pump gears... but so far the biggest proven killer of the stock pumps are underdrive pullies cause unlike the pushrod motors where the pump was driven by the distri. the modulars drive the oil pump by the crank and underdrive pullies have been proven to be to small to dampen the harmonics enough which can lead to the pump gears breaking
