![]() If you plan to work on the engine yourself, the 5.0 is your choice. It's much easier to work on. Upgrade parts are cheaper and more plentiful. From what I have seen, the 5.0's durability is better than the 4.6. The 4.6 is, of course, "smoother and more refined." I suppose I'll catch a few flames for that last comment
