Sorry to say I havent seen a GT/auto break out of 14's in 1/4 here let alone run 8's in 1/8.
If you have few mods I only recommend running 87octane. First off old racer tip is dont run it if you dont need it. Higher octane burns slower and can slow you down if car isnt designed or built to run higher octane for racing. I only use 87 for mine.
