![]() Thanks for the info on the direction of the lifters upon install, but does anyone have any information or expiriences on the placing of a new set of lifters on a old cam (not old just not new). What is the break in period on them before the surfaces wear together?? 1,000 miles? 3,000? Thanks for any information.
Also i have a couple of pushrods that are slightly pitted on the end. If I replace just the pitted rods is there going to be any problems with possible length problems between the new rods and the old ones? ------------------ 89 5.0 GT White w/Blue Racing Stripes K&N, 73mm Mass Air, Ported and Polished Stock Heads, E303 Cam, MAC equal Length Headers, Off Road H-Pipe, Borla Mufflers, Sway Bars, Strut Tower Brace, Subframe Connectors, Eibach Springs, Koni Adjustables/Reds, Pony 5 Stars, 1000 Watt JL Audio System, No P/S , No Smog Pump [This message has been edited by StreetRacin89Stang (edited 04-02-2001).] |
