Heating Problems

Well to begin with this car was COMPLETLY stock besides K&N back in october. So I installed the fan along with all the other mods. So its been running hot now for a few weeks since i got it running and the fan is only suppost to cool up to 260hp with air and 225 without air. I got air cond. Its been running bout 230 approx 45-50 degrees outside. Then yesterday it warmed up a little more to bout 65-70 and that damn temp gauge went up to 260. Its really bad in stop and go driving. But open road at a constant rate of 60. No probs at all.
