![]() The concept of a fuel pump that is too large has merit. The additional strain on the fuel pressure regulator can shorten it's life. The fact the pump is pushing against a large backpressure can heat the motor up and cause it to fail early as well.
A 155lph fuel pump will support over 400hp. I see no reason to upgrade to a 190, which generally costs significantly more unless you are going to supercharge the car. Stock is 88-92lph, which will support about 250hp or so, so even a 110lph pump will support more than 300hp. |
