I love the 86 questions, the off-road pipes in either configuration will give you at least 10 horsepower.
The general rule is that X-pipes yield more low end torque than an H-pipe, to me, torque is where its at on the street, the H-pipe will do very well too, giving you a little more top end horsepower than the X. Torque is what excellerates the car, horsepower is indicative of top speed, I'll always take torque over horsepower.
