Before the 331 came out were the oil control issues and short life span of the 347 a problem, or did they just start after the birth of the 331? Did these shops tell people about the so called problems? Why is it that GM can make motors for years that last for 200,000 miles with the same issues as the 347 but not have any problems? I am not saying that I know more then all the big name shops. But I do know that all the talk about bad rod ratios and oil control issues that are being told started by the makers of the 331.
