There are an infinite number of ways to get more hp out of a 289 engine. Knowing this, there are several questions that come in to play... how much are you willing to spend? How many hp do you actually want? Will the car see track time? Do you want the car to be streetable? etc.
Give us some idea of what you have envisioned for the performance of the car and we will be better able to make specific suggestions.
