I am 29 years old. I am a corrections officer at a maximum security state prison.
It's a pretty boring job, really. I mostly just sit there trying to stay awake. Occasionally  I keep the bad guys from doing bad things to each other or the staff. I have good people skills though. You ever get someone doing double life to clean a toilet with a toothbrush without becoming violent? I have.
