![]() 28 X 10.5 WORK BECAUSE OF THE LOWERED RADIUS ANGLE A 26 X 10.5 actually push against the outside rim lip. some 26 x 9 also do this depending on brand the other option for getting a proper seal is radiusing the lip(cutting it down) or screwing the tires on .
as far as things working at the track a friend of mine runs 15 x 15 x 32 slicks on his 10 holes out back and 165 sr 15 on his 10 holes on the front . but because he's a machinist and has cut all four rims and modified the width it works fine. and most of the 10.5 I've seen are 28's so the side wall deflection is a lot less like 15 degrees. ps on my ten holes one 26 x9 American racing slicks worked great the other would only mount white wall out to get a good seal . we mounted it white wall in and the side wall would colllapes we found a slight offset in the construction of the tire that caused this. Bill its only a mistake if you do it twice.
