I would highly reccomend MSD parts. thats what i used when i built the new engine and thats nearly all you see on hot rods and the such with high performance ignition. And even though its good stuff it shouldnt set you back too much. It cost me about 150CDN for cap rotor and 8.8 wires.

As far as other stuff goes im not really sure. Im lucky enough to be able to pull off all my emissions and i have an old carb setup. But the one thing you will probably want to change is the o2 sensors.
