I don't have any real answers for you but here's some food for thought. In the August 2001 issue of MM/FF there is a 99 GT with a automatic, stock save for underdrives, Nitto drag radials, and 3.73 gears. With these mods she ran a best of 13.87 @ 98mph
With a 75 hp shot it ran a 13.07 @ 106, with a 2.04 60 ft 100 hp jets, she ran a 12.34 @ 108, with a 1.70 60 ft
