I'm not sure about the newer driveshafts fitting, but I wouldnt doubt it if they would fit because most of the suspension components are the same.
But one thing I DO know is that you can get an aluminum driveshaft for fairly cheap (about $160). They do wonders for driveline vibrations. I'd highly suggest every fox mustang driver to buy one, even though I havent yet  good luck, -Drew
