I'll tell you what Bow Tie, I ran on slicks for the first time Saturday and I'm ready to dump my D/R's, I went from a 2.0 on the D/R's to a 1.78 on the slicks without even launching too hard. I was scared to run them before but now I'm hooked( ) and hooking. Drag radial might help you out but if you really want to hook get a set of slicks on a set of 10 holes or something. There's a guy in my local club in a 90 notch with a stock longblock and gears, Holley Systemax II intake and full 3" exhaust who ran a 13.3 on saturday with slicks. The guys car is a freak, but the slicks are definitely getting him there. I wish i had gone to them a long time ago. 13's are definitely in reach if you are running slicks.
