![]() well to start. Synthetic oil takes a lot longer to break down than organic oil and is alot less likely boil/airate because of heat. That being said thicker oils like 40 weight stand heat very well (if you look at the heat ranges of oils, mixed viscosity oils with a 40 weight have a high temperature resistance). 10W40 or 15W40 should work well i'm guessing, i think 20W50 would be kind of overkill though. good luck and have fun on your trip.
