Default gaskets

Replacing the valve cover gaskets is simple, I just replaced mine last weekend. Just take the valve covers off, take off the old gasket, (scrape any old RTV or any old gasket off if there's any on the valve covers) put some RTV on it and bolt it back up. I think you are supposed to torque the bolts to 7/12 to 10 lbs. The rear main seal is going to require you to actually drop the tranny. I would assume if Ford is replacing the clutch, they will replace the rear main seal at the same time. I hope this is what you were looking for. -Keith
