They probably were not stock heads either. Maybe Iron Windsors, or Winsor Jr's.
He may or may not have been spraying. A stripped out car does not need to have a ton of power to be fast. Mine is not even that stripped and I can run 12.0's @ 112 on every pass. My engine is nothing major either. Sucks about the head gaskets, but at 17 degrees of inital timing I would say you were trying to break it. |
