![]() From what I read, the smog pump injects a small amount of air into the cats to aid with cleaning the air by means of a more complete burn. I called MAC and asked them if there was any problem with running the cats without the smog pump and they said no. I'm no expert, but I am pretty sure you are not gonna clog the cats by not using the smog pump, at least not any quicker than normal.
