![]() i've looked into it myself and those heads are supposed to give you around 15 horsepower. I believe the intake ports are slightly larger and the combustion chamber is smaller giving you 9:1 compression instead of 8.3:1. In '86 the fuel injected 5.0 HO had 200 horsepower and a year later it was rated at 225 because of these things: larger throttle body, the E7TE heads, and i believe larger injectors. I personally also have some E7TE heads i was going to put on my car but my engine is reaching the end of it's days so it's a waste of time to put them on. Go for it, if you get a good deal it's worth the 10+ ft/lbs torque and 15hp.
