I'm afraid I have some bad news for you guys. While the advertised nominal c/r was 9.1:1, when you added the space taken up by the head gasket, as well as the piston crowns mild dish and the four valve notches, the real c/r is 8.8:1. To bring it back up to an honest 9.1:1, you would need to have the head surfaced .020".
