I think adding 250 lbs to a relatively low horsepower car is going to slow it down quite drastically. My car is around 200-300 lbs lighter than other Fox body stangs. And with comparable dyno numbers I am going sigificantly faster.
Most 3100 lb Stangs with 300 RWHP are trapping 107-108. My car weighs 2750-2800 and I trap 112-113 on motor with 309 RWHP. Something to think about.
