I have a 2.3l LX that does the same thing. Chirps in all gears, rest my foot on the pedal and it goes away. I've been told that it's the throw out bearing, but wouldn't that make noise when the clutch is disengaged (pedal is pushed)??? that is when it is under load. I thought the throw out bearing was just along for the ride when the clutch is engaged??
