Alot could affect your times, such as:

1. track temp
2. air temp
3. humidity
4. elevation
5. tires / traction / wheelspin at launch
6. 60 foot time (good indicator of traction)
7. and certainly not the last but the most important driver ability. a good driver can can get more out of a car than your average driver. driver skills are probably the most important part of the equation, i think. put a great driver in a stock gt, and they stand a darn good chance (i would bet money on it) versus an inferior driver in say, a supercharged saleen with too much wheelspin, slow/botched shifting, etc. maybe thats stretching it a bit, but you understand what i am saying.
