![]() When I put my 6032's on, I needed the bushing even with the ARP bolts I used. The bolts were a 7/16" standard head bolt set for a 302. Since the heads have a 1/2" hole, you'll definitely need to use the bushings.
ARP makes a bolt that'll do the job, but if you've got the bushings, why not use them? I hope you're using a good head gasket too. As for installing the heads, just remember to block the front smog holes with the supplied threaded inserts. As for the rocker arms, yours I think are pedestal mount so just follow the standard procedure for installing rocker arms (most chilton's books have this in them, but someone correct me if I'm wrong). If you have the extra cash, why not get a cam and intake right away too. The stock stuff will only choke the potential of the heads. |
