![]() 93CobraR - You will really like the 2031. It has a pretty mean idle, really kicks in at 3K, and pulls like a mofo clear to 6K. Mine idles around 750 or so and sounds great. When I put it in I used the FRPP double roller (made by Cloyes). Cheap insurance if you ask me. A standard replacement will work though. I installed mine straight up. You could retard it 4* and gain about 10hp up top, but you will lose the same down low. You could replace lifters since yours have 128k on them, but the stockers should work as long as it is running fine now. I reused mine, but only had 80k on them. I also put a new water pump on mine when I had everyhting apart.
