You should also make sure that you did not mount the brake cylinders up side down. Know it sounds funny, but air rises and if the bleeder valve is not on the top of the cylinder you will not be able to get all of the air out either. But you do HAVE to bench bleed your master cylinder before you install it. Or you will have to bleed your brakes for a long long time trying to get all of that air out. Good luck

If all else fails you can cut a whole in the floor board and stop like the Flinstones.
