I had much worse happen to mine, it was a week old and it caught fire! Burnt up 4 of my FMS 9mm wires that were also only a week old, MSD replaced the coil but I was on my own for the wires. I was sure glad that I'd switched to woven push lok hose because I watched the fire burn directly below the fuel line, that old rubber hose would've been the end of my car for sure! Go back to where you bought it from and get them to phone up MSD.
