The KB would and is a fun streetable supercharger, but with instant boost, comes the inability to hookup, especially on the street. A centrifugal type blower want deliver the instant boost, which will make it much easier to hookup and will make more power in the long run than a roots style blower. If you invest in the KB, invest in some good suspension components to go along with it, you'll need it. With the other type blowers, a good set of drag radials will probably get you by out on the street, unless you try and launch at high rpms.
Right now I'm running a small turbo which puts me at full boost by around 2500 rpms, similar to what a roots style blower would do. I can just mash the gas from idle and spin for about as long as I want to. I'm looking to upgrade to something larger so it doesn't spool quite so fast and I can actually get some power to the ground.
