![]() Get the car as high as you can on 4 jackstands. Try to position the jackstands so they will be out of your way as much as possible while your working under there. Put floorjack under tranny pan and use that to support it during removal.
To facilitate installation, jack up the front of the motor slightly and hold it up with another jack or some wood blocks under the oil pan or something. Having the motor angled back slightly makes the install and lining up the converter to the flexplate much easier. |
