Where does the pedal grab in relation to the floor? If the clutch can be disengaged very far off of the floor (as soon as you push the pedal in) , then you shoul losen the cable (screw the adjuster into the firewall). Even if it grabs close to the floor, adjust it in just to see if it helps, just make sure it is fully declutched when your foot is to the floor.
