...no experience with the gold II setup, but if you're making passes at the track you may want to consider a more HD unit, like the D/F setup. I had well over 50 passes on that unit, with slicks, and no problems... until it finally genaded a few years later. You don't have your cable adjusted up too far do you? ....and the quadrand looks ok?
