I helped do a couple fuel pumps at a pontiac/GMC truck dealer that i worked at over the summer. What we did was remove all of the bed bolts except for the rear 2 which we loosened up. Then since the truck was on a lift, we put exhaust stands (tall jack stands) up towards the front of the bed, and then lowered the lift. This lowered the truck but tilted the bed way up so we could get to the tank and remove the pump.
Now if you dont have a lift, I dont think it would be nearly that easy ![]() good luck with it Kevin, sorry I'm just wasting a post ![]()
