![]() Just what Eric said, it all depends on what you're using the car for. If you're just looking for a daily driver with some attitude, a 331 is capable of that. On the other hand, if it's going to be limited to the 1/4 mile, the 408 is the bigger, badder motor. I almost decided on building a 408 but the funds just aren't there, that's why I settled on the 331. I don't know what these 408's are putting out, but my 331 is going to be around 400hp.
