I recently put my T5 (sans tranny fluid) on the bathroom scale the other day. It rang home at 73 pounds. This seems dead-on with the 75 pound rating the factory gives it.
Good Luck with the trans removal. Remember, it's all about having the right tools!! If you have a hoist -- buy a transmission jack. If you're going to do the 'ol jackstands route (what I had to do), use a 3-ton (or something like that) floor jack to help lower/balance the transmission when you remove it. ------------------ Jeff Kane 1990 LX Mustang ex-5.0 Coupe No engine.
