![]() I run my Nitto Drags at 25 psi for street driving.. At the track I run them at 16 psi. As far as heating them up, you really need to get em HOT. One guy gave me some good advise on how much to heat them. He said
"Do your burnout but just look straight ahead. When you start to see smoke coming around the doors and the front of the car, the tires are hot enough." After they're warm, they hook like crazy. I usually launch at 3500 rpm and pull 2.0x 60' times. My times would be lower but I still can't bring myself to do a 4500 rpm launch. If you heat them up well enough and launch aggressively, you should have no problem getting 1.8 or maybe even 1.7 60' times.
