WAIT A MINUTE!!!
get rid of that 160* thermostat!!! i bet that is slowing you down man. i learned the same thing when i had one. they just dont let the engine get warm enough to run properly. if you got it with them damn hypertech chips, then get rid of them both!!! at least teh thermostat. 180 is plenty cool. if you have heating issues with a 180 than you have heating issues elsewhere.
