Honestly, I'm not beating her because I don't have a garage for when something goes boom. I shift anywhere between 5500-6000 but not much more. Remember, I still have the t-brake that I can hook up and some practicing to do. When I built the car I was shooting for a 12 second street car. I could rip out the seats and do other things to reduce weight but right noe I'm just trying to have fun, know what I mean? I think the biggest thing is that I set up my car for street leagl. Although I have 393 cubes under the hood I'm using all 302 parts, heads, intake, etc. I went to the 351 becuase of the durability of the engine. I don't rev her too high....yet.
