I don't know anything about the price or effort that goes int fixing a broken seat. Mine had the same problem, and now I have a cloth drivers seat out of an 88 gt and the original leather passenger seat that came with the car. Seat covers, a beautiful thing!!! But since you are trying to sell it, look in a pick a part for a stang with windows and yank the seat.
