24# injectors paired with a properly calibrated MAF will work just fine. You shouldn't lose any power because of it. You won't gain power from it, either. Your idle will probably produce more emissions. Essentially, it's a waste of money at this point to get the MAF calibrated for 19s or 24s. Does your friend have gears? Exhaust? Better shifter? Those are the things he should spend his money on first.

You do need a better fuel pump. A 155 or 190 lph. You don't need a fuel pressure regulator.
